The foundation…

We are seeking a Land Acquisition Specialist to join our Kent, WA team. In this position you will play a key role in underwriting the purchases of new communities for Richmond American Homes.

 

Core responsibilities…

Complete financial modeling for new land acquisitions

  • Draft Letters of Intent (LOI’s)
  • Obtain and analyze due diligence materials for project feasibility
  • Research jurisdictional development and building requirements
  • Complete competitive market analyses
  • Review and summarize purchase and sale agreements
  • Review title work
  • Draft acquisition memorandums
  • Assist managers with entitlements
  • Serve on HOA boards
  • Track future acquisition opportunities
  • Build market intelligence through published research and industry news
  • Create presentations to graphically represent market data • Assist other internal stakeholders with land related research.

 

The tools for success…

A college degree is required and/or prior experience in land acquisition is helpful. Legal or financial experience and/or education is preferred. Ideal candidates will be detail-oriented with a strong acumen for critical, logical thinking and problem-solving and have excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.  Candidates will need to be proficient in Microsoft
